The Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE) is a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation that helps all types of organizations improve their performance and outcomes, including productivity, workforce engagement, competitiveness, and customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
We use the leading-edge Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence as the basis for our process and for giving feedback to applicants. While KAPE’s process is modeled after the prestigious Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, our process is not about “winning an Award.” It’s about using the Criteria to perform low-cost, non-prescriptive assessments in addressing each applicant’s unique challenges. Applicants have said that the KAPE process is one of the best, most cost-effective and comprehensive assessments available. All KAPE applicant organizations – regardless of size – receive public recognition for their efforts in journeying toward performance excellence.
KAPE receives no financial or resource support from the government. Our organization is funded by members and sponsors, and we rely almost entirely on volunteers who share our passion for performance excellence.

Lost Creek Golf Club is located in beautiful Central Pennsylvania.
The golf course, opened in 1965, is moderate in length, and challenging in design. The course has a wonderful variety of holes that contain large, fast, undulating, bent grass greens, and terrain changes that offer beautiful views. The course, which plays to a par of 71, is guarded by 48 bunkers, and, of course, Lost Creek, which meanders through the property, and comes into play on a third of the holes. Each hole has 4 sets of tee markers, which makes the layout playable for golfers of all abilities. This allows players to enjoy a great golfing experience, with an exceptional pace of play.
Our Club offers a variety of amenities to add to all golfers’ visit. The golf car fleet is nearly 65 strong, and is a combination of gas and electric power vehicles. Lost Creek is a walking friendly facility. A change from 2008, golfers are now allowed to walk on weekends before 1:00 and be only charged green fees. Prices are normally $10 for nine holes, and $19 for 18 holes during the week, and $14 for nine holes, and $25 for 18 holes on weekends and holidays. Golf car rental is $9.00 for nine holes, and $17 for 18 holes. All rates are per player. Senior days, and ladies days are Tuesday and Thursday, with rates of only $27 per qualifying player. The qualifying senior age is 55.
